Fields of Mistria 1.0 marriage guide
Fields of Mistria 1.0 extends relationships through marriage and family progression. If a romance appears stuck, first verify that your game has updated from early access and that you have completed the earlier heart events for that character.
Reliable progression order#
- Raise affection through conversation, quests and gifts.
- View heart events in sequence; later events may require a location, time, weather or story milestone.
- Reach the new 1.0 relationship tier and complete the candidate's 10-heart content.
- Follow the in-game marriage prompt rather than relying on an early-access guide.
- Continue playing after marriage for family progression; it is not necessarily immediate.
Juniper and March gifts#
Gift tables are version-sensitive. Use the character reaction and in-game records to confirm a preference before spending a rare item. Community wikis are useful for item lists, but the current build is authoritative when an old table disagrees.
If a 10-heart event will not trigger#
Revisit earlier events, leave and re-enter the required area, check the time and weather, and advance any main-story gate. Do not assume affection alone is sufficient. Sleeping one day after an update can also refresh event scheduling.
