Beast of Reincarnation post-launch fixes and patch status
Game Freak has acknowledged feedback about the camera, small text, performance and story pacing, but a promised improvement should not be described as installed until patch notes confirm it. Check the version number on your title screen before testing a fix.
What has been announced#
Post-launch reporting says the developer prioritized story-pacing adjustments, followed by work on camera behavior, font readability and performance. The exact delivery order can change, and platform certification may make release times differ.
What to do now#
- Increase interface or subtitle size if your current build exposes those options; otherwise use the console or operating system zoom feature.
- Reduce motion blur and camera sensitivity if the camera makes combat difficult. Change one setting at a time.
- On PC, record resolution, preset and frame-rate cap before comparing performance. Shader compilation stutter and a sustained low frame rate are different problems.
- Do not edit configuration files until you have backed them up and verified the game files.
How to verify a patch#
Match the displayed version with official patch notes, restart the client so a queued update can install, and repeat the same scene or encounter. A store download notification alone does not prove that a particular issue is fixed.
